All Star Blog Post Belongs to....

Truthfully, I was a bit confused on whose to choose, because I actually would write about all of them- if it was possible. Truthfully, I might have even picked my own if that were possible too(because I pity myself far too much).  My own writing tends to be creative and long because I hate leaving out all that good stuff. Well, I picked Alex's (http://fsab2011.blogspot.com/2011/12/jack-gantos-mistakes-into-sucess.html) because this post is very thoughtful and makes you think a bit deeper than what meets the eye. Most of the time, you just take certain things in life for granted. "Oh, well, that person is crazy because they're doing this and only someone out of his right mind would do that!" Truthfully, I tend to be that way too. That is called being narrow-minded. Alex does not qualify under the narrow-minded category.

In Alex's blog post, Jack Gantos: Mistakes into Success, he talks about Jack Gantos' autobiography. Jack, apparently, did a bunch of crimes just so he could move along with his life. Just through small bits, Alex found meaning. I thought it was interesting how he sort of took all those "meanings" and he put them together at the end. I was not exactly sure where he was leading to. I, honestly, had to guess what he was leading up to. I did not fully understand until I read it a second time. What I really think is: his work has a certain structure where he takes everything one at a time before putting the puzzle pieces together.
